Cindy Bridges

SHELBY- Ms. Cynthia “Cindy” Faye Bridges, 51, died Thurs., Nov. 24, 2011, at Kings Mountain Hospice House. A native of Mecklenburg Co. she was the daughter of the late Denny Moore and Kathryn Blanton Bridges. She was a graduate of Gardner-Webb and taught school at First Assembly and Piedmont Charter Schools in Gastonia.


SURVIVED: She is survived by her sister, Pat McDonald and husband Ernie of Belwood; four brothers, Dennis Bridges, Doug Bridges and wife Lynn, all of Shelby, Lindsay Bridges and wife Tammy of Morganton, Clarence “Chuck” Bridges and wife Sherry; and special nephew, Austin Bridges, all of Shelby.

SERVICES: 2pm, Sunday, at Putnam Memorial Baptist Church

VISITATION: 6-7:30pm, Saturday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at the home of her brother, Doug, 1055 Hunter Valley Rd., Shelby.
