Helen Davidson

SHELBY: Helen Wray Davidson born October 29, 1939 to Fonze and Hattie Curtis White met her savior on July 20, 2023. As a member of Drury Dobbins Baptist church, Helen was baptized in 1950. She retired from Fiber Industries and her second career was cleaning the homes of families she came to love and cherish. Helen was a vibrant woman giving her time to anyone who had a need. Helen loved to dance with her family at events and was always the life of the party. If she heard you had a need, she met it. Helen loved her family and cared for them all. She loved to bake and anyone who knew her was lucky to taste her creations. She mastered biscuits like her mother Hattie and her cooking was bar to none. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Fonze & Hattie; grandparents, George & Lettie Curtis; sister, Shirley Hamrick; brothers, Leonard White and Loy White; and son Jeffrey Dane Davidson. She is survived by her daughter, Trina Davidson Graham; her son, Eric Dane Davidson and wife Joyce; grandson, Jacob Clinton Davidson and Heather Hoyle; the apple of her eye, great granddaughter, Rylee Faith Davidson; her sister, Diane White; her brothers, Steve White and Dan White will continue to lead the family in love. Helen had many very special nieces and nephews who have unforgettable memories of Helen with laughter and love. Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Drury Dobbins Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family asks that memorials be sent to Drury Dobbins Church at 3603 Dobbins Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28150.
