Leigh Ann Humphries Carpenter

KINGS MOUNTAIN: Mrs. Leigh Ann Humphries Carpenter, 38, died Sun., April 24, 2011 at Kings Mountain Hospital She was the daughter of Clavin and Betty Styers Humphries of Kings Mountain. Leigh Ann was a devoted daughter, sister, and aunt that loved her family and her family loved her. She was employed in the finance department with the City of Lowell, attended Gaston College where she was a member of the Gamma Beta Phi, and was a member of Anthony Grove Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: She was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. & Mrs. John Styers and Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Humphries; great grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Will Humphries; and a uncle Frank Styers.

SURVIVED: In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by her two brothers John Humphries and wife Kristy and Michael Humphries, all of Kings Mountain; and niece and nephew, Mikayla and Zachary Humphries.

SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Kings Mountain. Her body will be place in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6-8pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain, and other times at the home of Vance and Frances Bridges, 701 Lee St., Kings Mountain.

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Mt. Rest Cemetery
