Steve Hopper

GROVER: Steve Hopper, 78, died Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Fair Haven of Forest City. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Jonas and Violet Millwood Hopper. Steve worked at JC Dye and also as an auto mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marsha Anne Hopper. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Gibson and husband Mark of Boiling Springs; son, Stephen Hopper Jr. and girlfriend Judith Whitmore of Grover; sisters, Carol Condrey and Debbie Dover, both of Shelby; grandchildren, Taylor Allen of Shelby, Brooke Houser and husband Zeke of Boiling Springs and Logan Hopper of Blacksburg; and great-grandchildren, Zeb and Mak Houser.
