Sherry Jackson

GROVER: Sherry Evans Jackson, 55, died Monday, May 21, 2018 at CaroMont Health-Gastonia. A native of Cleveland County, she is the daughter of Maudine Allen Terry of Shelby, and the late Ralph Evans. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. The family wants to extend a special thank you to Dr. Villareal and his staff, CaroMont Health, and Hospice of Cleveland County, for the compassionate care of our wife, mother and grandmother.

PRECEDED: In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Evans.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Terry Jackson Jr., of the home; sons, Todd Jackson and Angel of Kings Mountain and Adam Jackson of Grover; daughters Dena Rogers and husband Jeffrey and Leann Strange, all of Grover, and Tonya Wallace and husband Fred of California; brother, Mark Evans and wife Kim of Shelby; 12 grandchildren and one on the way; mother-in-law, Carolyn Jackson; sisters-in-law, Pam and Sharon Jackson; her beloved dog Prancess; and many special family and friends

VISITATION: The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service, at the funeral home.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, May 24, 2018 in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home

OFFICIATING: Rev. Allen Davis

BURIAL: will follow the service at Grover Cemetery

MEMORIALS: May be made to the Youth Group Fund at Landmark Baptist Church 1724 E Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152
