Donna Gideon

LINCOLNTON: Donna Kay Stout Gideon, 68, died Saturday, April 24, 2021 at her home. A native of McDonald County, MO, she is the daughter of Clyde Stout of MO, and the late Betty Stites Stout. Donna was a faithful pastor’s wife for 25 years, serving at Eastwind United Pentecostal Church, and several years prior, while living in Missouri. She loved her family, reading and camping. In addition to her father, she is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Rev. Jimmie Gideon of the home; son, Scott Gideon; daughter, Jennifer Speight and husband Hugh, both of Lincolnton; sister, Pam Stillions and husband Mitch; brother, Eddie Stout and wife Kathy, both of MO; grandchildren, Kaylyn Sigley and husband Patrick, Kelsey, Olivia, and Victoria Speight and Brett Gideon; and great grandchildren, Evelyn, Colton and Brady Sigley. Funeral service will be held 2:30pm, Sunday, May 2, 2021 at United Pentecostal Church of Gastonia, 91 May Ave., Gastonia, with the Rev. James Speight and Rev. David Elms officiating.
