Aileen Davis Glenn

SHELBY-Aileen Davis Glenn, 87, died Tuesday, February, 20, 2018, at her home. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Cora Lee Ervin Davis. She was a member of Davidson Memorial Baptist Church, and enjoyed gardening, crafts, baking, canning, and most of all, her family. The family would like to thank the staff of hospice for their love and care they extended.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, AV Lowrance; second husband, Henry Palmer Glenn; daughter-in-law, Suzy Lowrance; granddaughter, Stephanie Caviler; son-in-law, Dick Brooks; brothers, Everett, AV, and Ralph Davis; sisters, Ethel Freeman, Elsie McAllister, and Lillian Smith and her husband Chuck.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Roger Lowrance of Shelby; daughters, Diane Whisnant and husband John of Shelby, and Teresa Brooks of Spartanburg; sisters, Cathy Walker and Sarah Knight and husband Sonny, all of Gaffney; brothers, Dean Davis and wife Barbara of Shelby, Robert Davis and wife Dot of Shelby, and Norris Davis and wife Glennis of Chesnee; grandchildren, Mark Lee and wife Debbie of Steadman, NC, Jennifer Howell and husband Jimmy of Woodruff, and Amy Buff and husband Eric of Earl; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Bryson, Emma, Joel, Eliza, Ally, Brandi, and Steven; great-great-grandchildren, Breanna and Wyatt; sister-in-law, Reba Davis; and brother-in-law, Tom McAllister, both of Shelby.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 1pm, Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 6-7:30pm, Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at her home.

OFFICIATING: The Rev. Danny Phillips will officiate

BURIAL: Will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park
