Alice V. Lemons

ELLENBORO– Mrs. Alice Virginia Lemons, 90, of Arbian Dr., died Tues., July 9, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Dovie Hayes Boone. She was a member of Mt Olivet Baptist Church in Hopewell.


PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Martin Lemons; two sisters; and one brother.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her two daughters, Pat Willis and husband John, and Kathryn Grigg; two sons, Billy Lemons and wife Rose, and Buck Lemons, all of Ellenboro; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great- grandchildren.

SERVICES: Friday, 11AM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Thursday, 6-7:30PM, at the funeral home.
