Amanda Damaris "Dee" Miller

YORK: Damaris “Dee” Miller, 90, formerly of Shelby, passed Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Campbell Co., Va. to the late Noel B. and Geneva Crabtree Francis. She was a graduate of Southern College of Virginia and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She was always a loving mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family and church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Chief Al Miller; and brother’s Noel B. Francis, Jr. and Robert T. Francis

SURVIVED: by her daughters, Nancy Miller Teague and husband Bill of Matthews and Karen Miller Sabet and husband Daniel of York, SC; grandchildren, Micah Teague and wife Alexandria, David Teague and wife Kristen, and Benjamin Sabet; 1 great grandchild, Sophia; brother, Harry Francis of Glen Bernie, Md.; sister Christine Francis Barclay of Baltimore, Md..

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church

OFFICIATING: Rev. Andy Oliver and Rev. Bob Dills

BURIAL: will immediately follow the service at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery
