SHELBY-Andrew Hurdt went home to be with our Lord on October 16, 2019 at Atrium Health in Shelby, NC.
Andrew was born to James Franklin and Lottie Hoyle Hurdt on February 16, 1943. Andrew was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. He was a retired truck driver and enjoyed reading his Bible and going to church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, John, Dwight, Charles, Joe and James; and his sisters, Ruth Philbeck, Betty Hurdt and Carolyn Hurdt.
He is survived by his brothers, Ronald and Leonard; and his sister, Shirley Adams.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 2:00PM with the funeral following at 3:00PM at Faith Baptist Church. Pastors J. Barry Goodman and Johnny Owens will be officiating. Burial will be in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crossroads Rescue Mission, 206 Mt. Sinai Church Road, Shelby, NC 28152 sponsored by Faith Baptist Church.
Clay Barnette Funeral Home in Shelby is serving the Hurdt Family.
