Angelia Evans Martin

SHELBY- Angelia Evans Martin (Angie) 53, of Shelby passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 26, 2017 surrounded by her family. A native of Cleveland County Angie was an amazing nurse and touched the lives of many with her beautiful smile and heart of gold.
She is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Christopher “Chris” Martin, six children Andrew (Shaye) Sumner, Josh Sumner, Tabitha (Josh) Sumner, Patricia (Anthony) Sumner, Emily Cogdell, and Dylan Cogdell. Sisters Annette (Craig) Beaver, Julie (Mike) Hamrick, Brother Keith Evans, and in-laws Dan and Terri Martin she is also survived by her pride and joy, her grandchildren, A.J., Abigail, Aubrey, Aaliyah, Khloe, Ethan, Cameron, Kaydence, Carson, Joslyn, Carter, and Zaylen as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 1, 2017 from 4-6 pm at Blessed Way Baptist Church in Lawndale, NC with a memorial service immediately following officiated by Rev. Daniel Martin, and a few words spoken by Rev. Thom Cook.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Hospice House of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150 in memory of Angie Martin.
