Angie Wicke

GROVER: Angie Queen Wicke, 53, died Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Atrium Health Cleveland. Born in Cherokee County, SC, she is the daughter of Ronald and Jackie Mullinax Queen of Grover. She attended New Buffalo Baptist Church and had a passion for caring for others. She enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hamby. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, Tony Martin of Monroe and Dylan Ruppe of Grover; brother, Butch Bailey and wife Lisa of Blacksburg; grandchildren, Landon, Ayden, Abbigail and Avery Ruppe; and special friend, Dottie Harmon of Bostic. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at New Buffalo Baptist Church with Pastor Adam Green officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the church. Burial will follow in Grover Cemetery.
