SHELBY — Anna Lee Wilson Griffin, 92, died Feb. 26, 2018, at White Oak Manor, Shelby.
Born May 31, 1925, in Anderson, S.C., she was the daughter of the late George Allen and Inez Watson Wilson.
Her grandparents were I.G. and Georgeanna Davis Watson of Shelby and Richard Norris and Mame King Wilson of Belton, S.C.
She was employed by Dr. Avery W McMurry for 24 years and retired to care for her mother. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Shelby since 1940.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by her son Allen Vance Griffin.
She is survived by her son Walter Lee Griffin and wife Sandy of Shelby; grandchildren Chris Griffin and wife Julie of Fort Mill, SC, Adam and Wilson Griffin of Shelby, Lee Ann Griffin of Columbia, SC; two great-grandchildren, Noah and Luke Griffin of Fort Mill, S.C.
A private graveside service will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 at Sunset Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Tench officiating.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Shelby 120 N Lafayette St, Shelby, NC 28150.
