SHELBY- Mrs. Deloris Kennedy Philbeck, 73, of 1211 Horsetrail Drive, died Wednesday, Sept 16th , 2009 at White Oak Manor of Shelby. A native of Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Verdie Hollifield Kennedy.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Philbeck; son William Keith Philbeck; and two brothers Jack and Joe Kennedy.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by her two sons J.B. Philbeck Jr. and wife Kay of Gaffney, and Steven Dale Philbeck of Shelby; a daughter Sandra Crawford and husband Rob of Shelby; two sisters Peggy Matthews of Georgia and Brenda Humphries and husband Billy of Swainsvills; five grandchildren Jamie Brian Philbeck of Gaffney, Steven Dean Philbeck and wife Shauna, Lora Ann White, Josh Crawford and wife Kelli, and Joseph Crawford and wife Lonnie, all of Shelby; seven great grandchildren, Skylar Philbeck, Valarie Lovelace, Deanna Lovelace, and A.J. Lovelace Jr., Malia Crawford, Mason Robert Crawford, and Madison Crawford.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 12:30 until 2 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and at other times at the home, and at the home of her son J.B. Philbeck Jr., 2317 Chesney Hwy, Gaffney, SC.
FUNERAL: Services will be held, Saturday, September 19, 2009, 2:00pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
INTERMENT: Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery
CLERGY: Rob Crawford will be officiating
