SHELBY-Anthony Nedbal, 59, died Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Atrium Health Cleveland.
Anthony "Tony" Nedbal, 59, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2022 at Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby, NC. Born in Berwyn, IL, he was the son of the late Anthony and Marilyn Nedbal. It was in Illinois that he first met his loving wife, Trina. They made their life in Wisconsin and later in Shelby, NC, and were married for 33 wonderful years. Together, they shared two children, Anthony and Alyssa. Tony's greatest source of joy was his family. He was a devoted and affectionate father and husband who always made the house a home for those he loved. He worked as a valued member of the Cleveland County Facility Maintenance Department. Tony loved cars and enjoyed working on them with his son. He also had a great appreciation for art and nature and enjoyed vacationing to the beach with his wife.
He is survived by his wife, Trina Nedbal, son, Anthony Nedbal, daughter Alyssa Nedbal (Cody Batchelder), and his parents-in-law Charles and Janice Page. A private celebration of life will be hosted by the family.
