Arthur Neal

SHELBY- Mr. Arthur Spurling Neal, 95, of 1011 Allendale Drive, died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain. A native of Cherokee County, he was the son to the late Alfred Fred and Moseline Moore Neal. Mr. Neal retired from Dover Textiles as a loom fixer and was also a member of Landmark Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Virginia Harrelson Neal, and two brothers; James and Baxter Neal.
Mr. Neal is survived by a sister; Mary Sue Shoff of Charlotte.
A visitation will be held Friday (9/12) from 10-10:30am at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
A graveside service will immediately follow at 11:00am at Sunset Cemetery.
Rev. Allen Davis and Dr. Bobby Ridge will be officiating.
