Arthur Paul Schulz

SHELBY- Mr. Arthur Paul Schulz, of 105 Pinoak Lane, died Monday, February 28, 2011 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Otto Paul and Amelia Schlagel Schulz. Arthur was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed gardening. He was also a member of Shelby Presbyterian Church.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ellnor Schmitt Shulz.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his two daughters, Donna Haretos and husband Arthur, Karen Long and husband Bruce all of Shelby; four grandchildren, Chrisi Bollinger and husband David of Arlington, VA, Erin Hart and husband Scott of San Francisco, CA, Steve Birx and wife Rebecca of Gainesville, FL, Heidi Maskol and husband Steve of Gastonia; two great grandchildren, Charlie and Danny Birx of Gainesville, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held 2pm Friday, March 4, at Shelby Presbyterian Church.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the fellowship hall.
CLERGY: Dr. Luke Harkey, assisted by Rev. Jeff Erbskorn of Ascension Lutheran Church.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shelby Presbyterian Church 226 E. Graham Street, Hospice and Palliative Care of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, 28150, or Ascension Lutheran Church, 330 N. Lafayette St., Shelby, NC 28150
