Barbara Sanders

KINGS MOUNTAIN- Barbara Moss Sanders, 77, died Friday, December 25, 2020 at her home. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Grier and Annie Pruitt Moss. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and was a member of Pathway Baptist Church. She enjoyed making crafts and working puzzles. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Floyd Sanders of the home; sons, William Forrest Sanders and Tim Sanders and wife Mary; daughters, Leslie Moore and Rachel Pope and husband Eric; sisters, Annette Short, Pat Cobb and husband Marvin, and Margaret Austin and husband Wayne; brother, J.B. Moss and wife Nancy, all of Kings Mountain; 18 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain, with the Revs. James Hamrick and Kevin Whittington officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mountain Rest Cemetery.
