SHELBY- Mrs. Beatrice G. Butler, 87, of 702 Live Oak Street a native of Rutherford County died, Friday, February 29, 2008 at Hospice at Wendover. She was a daughter of the late Claude and Becky West Hardin. She was retired from Dover Mill, and was a member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church.
PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Floyd J. Butler, a daughter, Sheila Spurling, two brothers, Joe and Vance Hardin, and two sisters, Valerie Owens and Marlene Hearn.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by three sons, Keith Butler and wife Gail, and Garland Butler and wife Becki all of Shelby, and Darrell Butler and Pam Lynch of Boiling Springs; a daughter, Elizabeth Greene and husband Pharis of Grover; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty one great grand children.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 pm Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel and at other times at the home.
FUNERAL: The funeral will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
