BETTY JOLLEY
RUTHERFORDTON-Betty Smith Jolley, 90, went to Glory Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at Fair Haven of Forest City. A native of Cleveland County, she was born to the late Washington and Mary Glenn Smith. She loved flowers, reading and quilting.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, J. Clyde Jolley; son, Billy Jackson Jolley; sister, Ruth Crilley; brothers Paul, Glen, Bill, and George Smith.
She is survived by her daughter Bertha Allison and husband Larry of Green Creek; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Richard Stroup.
Burial will immediately follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
The family requests no flowers but donations to their favorite charity.
