Beulah Davis

SHELBY: Beulah Mae Davis, 84, died Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at White Oak Manor in Shelby. She was born January 15, 1939 to the late Robert Lee and Ollie Wood Smith Short. She retired from Doran Mill, LLC after 30 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Wilburn Davis; son, James Davis; brothers, Oscar and Junior Short; and sisters, Lillie Mae Walker, Alice Ramsey, and Mildred Lefevers. She is survived by her sons, Ray Davis and wife Angela, Johnny Davis and wife Labreeska and Billy Davis; daughter, Sherry Icard and husband Butch; sisters, Vera Dellinger and Francis Smith; grandchildren, Amanda Emory and husband Josh, Kacie Davis, Michael Anderson and wife Holly, Jason Davis and wife Becky, Dustin Davis and wife Beth, Jonathan Davis and wife Maria, Brandon Davis and wife Lauren, and Tyler Davis and wife Casey; great-grandchildren, Madison, Anna, Zella, Haddie, Tillie Mae, John, Drake, Owens, Everly, Colt, Haynes, and Jorden. A Graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July22, 2023 at Sunset Cemetery with the Rev. Allen Davis officiating.
