Billie Condrey

SHELBY: Billie Louis Condrey, 90, died Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Peak Resources of Cherryville. He was born in Cliffside, NC to the late Edgar and Bonnie Simmons Condrey. He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Navy, for four years, during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert, Howard and Charles Ray Condrey; sisters, Hazel McClunney and Joyce Luckadoo. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Carolyn R Condrey, of the home; sister, Dianne Cloninger and husband Tom; brothers, Johnny and wife Joyce Condrey, Roger and wife Carol Condrey; brothers-in-law, Paul Luckadoo, and Richard and wife Nancy Ross; sister in law, Linda and husband Paul Farris.

A graveside service will be held 11am, Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in Mountain Rest Cemetery, with the Revs. Jim Brackett and Jason Allen officiating. Those in attendance at the service are request to wear face masks and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 1022 Oak Grove Rd, Kings Mountain, NC, 28086.
