SHELBY-Billy F. King, 68, died Wednesday, Mar. 23, 2016, at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he is the son of Wilma Martin Lail, of Shelby, and the late Marvin King. He retired from textiles.

PRECEDED: In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, AC Lail; brothers, Anthony and Ambrose Lail

SURVIVED: In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Jeff King of Atlanta, GA., Jeremy King and wife Alisha of Shelby, and Jacob King and wife Kimberly of Gaffney; step-daughter, Paige Carr and husband Jay; brothers, Clyde King, and Larry Lail and wife Chrissy of Shelby; sister, Paulette Owens and husband James of Shelby; grandchildren, Natalyn, Noelle, and Neleigh King, Kaley Best, Kayson, Jaythan, Lakelee, and Fischer Carr; one great-grandchild; and 9 nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2pm, at Faith Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Monday, 6-7:30pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral home, and other times at the home of his mother, 124 Trent McSwain Rd., Shelby

BURIAL: Cook Memorial Gardens at Faith Baptist Church

CLERGY: Dr. J. Barry Goodman
