Billy Mote

KINGS MOUNTAIN- Billy Everette Mote, 64, died Thurs., Sept. 17, 2015, at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late EB and Virginia Chambers Mote. He retired from textiles.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Billy Joseph Mote; and brother, Johnny Mote.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Frances Case Mote, of the home; sons, Samuel and Daniel Freeman; daughter, Sarah Wigginton; sister, Shirley Atkins and husband David; brothers, Jimmy Mote and wife Laura and Tony Mote and wife Brenda, all of Kings Mountain; six grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Services will be held 1p.m., Saturday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

BURIAL: Will follow in Sunset Cemetery
