July 24, 1917 — August 16, 2010

SHELBY- Mrs. Blanche Louisa Rose, 93, of 212 Tyler Rd, died Monday, August 16, 2010 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. A native of Allenghany County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Lorenzo and Minnie Pruitt Bare. Mrs. Rose was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker who loved children, animals, and gardening.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her husband, Reedie Rose of the home; daughter Joan Bridges and husband Mack; and two grandchildren, Stephen and Daniel Blair, all of Shelby.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held, Tuesday, 11am, at Cleveland Memorial Park.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends following the service.
OFFICIATING: Rev. Steve Putnam will be officiating.
MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000
