Bobbi Jo Cobb

GROVER: Bobbi Jo Cobb, 50, died Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Caromont Health in Gastonia. Born in VA, is the daughter of Mamie Grubb of Charlotte and the late Roy Grubb. Bobbi worked as a nurse, where she had a passion for helping others. She enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Lee Jay Cobb of the home; son, Ajay Cobb of Grover; brothers, Dwayne and Jeff Grubb; mother-in-law, Brenda Mauney of Shelby; and father-in-law, Jake Cobb and wife Nancy of Kings Mountain. A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jody McGaha officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
