Bonnie Childers

SHELBY: Mrs. Bonnie Henson Childers, 93, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Cleveland House. She was the daughter of the late William and Annie Loyd Henson. Bonnie retired from Winn-Dixie after many years of service. She was a faithful and loyal member of Royster Avenue Church of God and will always be remember as a loving wife, daughter, sister and loving friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters, traveling and being a collector of salt and pepper shakers. The family would like to thank the special caregivers for all their love and care they extended to Bonnie over the years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Childers; sister and best friend, Bobbie Henson Childers, two other sisters; and her K-9 companion, Bobo. She is survived by several extended family members. A graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 19, 2024 in Cleveland Memorial Park, with the Rev. Richard Shores officiating.
