KINGS MOUNTAIN-Mrs. Brenda Humphries Carrigan, 65, of 1001 Ramseur Street, passed away Wednesday April, 10, 2013 peacefully at her residence. A native of Cleveland county, she was born July 30, 1947, daughter of the late Avery Brell and Nora Selena Batson Humphries. She was a beautiful person inside and out with a humble spirit and was loved by everyone who knew her.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Gerald Carrigan only a few months ago.
SURVIVED: She is survived by two sons, Gerald Carrigan, Jr. of Dallas and Chris Carrigan and wife Kim of Lincolnton; two sisters, Jean Grass of Kannapolis and Selena Shuffler and husband Doug of Kings Mountain; one brother, Charles Humphries and wife Brenda of Kings Mountain; five grandchildren, Kristie, Scott, Trevor, Maddox, and Ryder Carrigan; three great grandchildren, Kenny, Keeley, Cali.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held Saturday, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-7:30 pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.
