Brenda Hamrick, 64 passed Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Atrium Health - Cleveland.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents Charlie Sims Atkins and Sarah Geneva Atkins. As well as her husband Doug Hamrick, her son Derek Hamrick. And her four brothers - Jimmy Atkins, Jerry Atkins, Larry Atkins, and Ronnie Atkins.
Brenda loved her family dearly. She loved to cook and loved Christmas and decorating. She enjoyed going on vacations and trips with her sisters and nieces, Lisa and Laura. She also loved her two fur babies.
She is survived by two children, Billy Hamrick and Leann Hamrick, both of Forest City, NC. Brother Johnny Atkins and wife Linda of Grover, NC. Brother Randy Atkins of Lattimore, NC. Sisters Roseann Green and Becky Atkins, both of Lattimore, NC. Grandchildren Alexis Hamrick and Makayla Ledbetter, both of Forest City, NC. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Per Brenda's request, no formal service will be held. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County at 951 Wendover Heights, Shelby, NC 28150
