Brenda Mcdaniel

SHELBY- Mrs. Brenda McDaniel, 67, of 713 Ware Road, passed away Wednesday morning, July 31, 2013 at her residence. A native of Cleveland County, she was born August 9, 1945, daughter of the late Ralph and Helen Barnett Head.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Fred “Buddy” McDaniel of the home; one son, Billy McDaniel and girlfriend Lori Hughes of Shelby; five daughters, Lisa Edwards and husband Don, Carolyn Brown, Donna Thompson and husband Sam, Patty McDaniel, Nancy McKee and boyfriend James Sullens, Jr. all of Shelby; three sisters, Vickie Hudson, Debbie Stidham, Tammy Matheny; two brothers, Rocky and Junior Head; fourteen grandchildren, Jessica Stillwell, Victoria “Tori” McDaniel, Angel Clark, Brady McDaniel, Austin McDaniel, Lacey McKee, Jacob Williams, Damien McDaniel, Clay McKee, Nathan Sullens, Jacob Sullens, Samantha Sullens, Becca Thompson, Zach Thompson; one great grandchild, Cassidy Cochran.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Friday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel of Shelby.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at her home.

CLERGY: Chaplin Terry Floyd will officiate.

BURIAL: Burial will be private.
