Bud Moore

October 1, 1935 — June 17, 2013

SHELBY – Mr. Herman “Bud” Moore, 77, of 2200 Gaffney Rd., died Mon., June 17, 2013 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cherokee County, SC, he was the son of the late Graham and Mary Euzelia Whisnant Moore. He retired from NC Dept. of Transportation in 1994 after 40 years of service and was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Moore; and sister, Elizabeth “Lib” Moore Griffin.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Frances Pearson Moore, of the home; daughter, Connie Moore Smith of Boiling Springs; son, Bobby Moore and wife Dawn of Boiling Springs; two granddaughters, Caitlin Smith of Boiling Springs, Natalie Moore of Sylva; grandson, Nathan Moore of Boiling Springs; great grandson, Trendon Lee More of Boiling Springs; brother, Joe Moore and wife Cenie of Boiling Springs.

SERVICES: Wednesday, 2:00PM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Wednesday, 12:30-2:00PM, at the funeral home.

CLERGY: Revs. Shane Kirby and Jim McSwain

BURIAL: Cleveland Memorial Park
