Carol Chapman

SHELBY: Carol Ann Bridges Chapman, 81, died Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Inez Roberts Bridges. Carol retired from Reliance Electric/Baldor and had a passion for gardening and reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband A.J. Chapman; son, Farris Chapman; brothers, Ralph and Carl Ray Bridges; and sisters, Faye Bridges and Sylvia Lovelace. She is survived by her brothers, Max and Wayne Bridges; sisters, Kaye Santana and Dianne Bridges; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private.
