SHELBY: Charles David McSwain, 70, died Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Atrium Health Cleveland. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Charles Spurgeon McSwain and Ruth Cline McSwain. Charles worked for Fiber Industries and Kemet Electronics. He is survived by his brother, Robert McSwain of Shelby, and many other extended family members. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service, at the funeral home.
