Chris Daniels

SHELBY- Mr. Christopher “Chris” Samuel Daniels, 26, of 1203 Pamela Drive, died Sunday, December 16, 2007. He was a native of Mercer County, WV, son to Larry C. Daniels of Cherryville and Linda Cannoy of the home. He was of the Baptist faith and was employed by All Seasons Parts and Service. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and loved to take his daughter to feed the ducks on Moss Lake on Sundays.

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Thomas Wesley Patterson

SURVIVORS: In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Chris Sizemore and Mike Sizemore both of Shelby; a daughter, Breanna Nicole Daniels of Boger City; step-mother, Trina Patterson Daniels of Cherryville; step-brothers, Curtis Carpenter of Cherryville, and Brett Carpenter of High Shoals; a step-sister, Mandi Carpenter of Cherryville; grandmother, Marie N. Dover of Cherryville; “Maw-Maw”, Carolyn Owens and “Paw-Paw”, Guy Owens of Shelby; aunts and uncles, Marilyn and Jerry Daniels of Max Meadows, VA, Russell Daniels of Bland, VA, Frank Daniels of Hillsville, VA, and Will and Cindy Patterson and Scott and Renee Patterson, all of Cherryville; and cousins, Laura Graham and Nikki Graham.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

FUNERAL: The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

LIE-IN-STATE: The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service.

INTERMENT: Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
