Chris O Peterson

Chris Oliver Peterson, August 4, 1944 ~ June 1, 2018. A loving mother of 4 children crossed over to meet Jesus at 7:44 am Friday. Chris loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandson and her four sisters with all her heart and was very caring with everyone she met.
Surviving are her children, son Ray Roseberry and wife Janay, daughter Melissa Jackson and husband David, son James Robert (Robbie) Long, Jr., daughter Sharon Burton and husband Beauford. Also her sisters Marlene Oliver, Darlene Killian and husband Joe, Linda Moss and husband Larry, Brenda Humphries and husband Charles, and her grandchildren Anthony Nations, James Robert (Trey) Long III, Christopher Roseberry, Kaylee Jackson and great-grandson Caleb Long.
"Victory in Jesus" was her thoughts and favorite song.
Chris requested and the family honored her request to have a private gathering of only her children, grandchildren and sisters at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home in Kings Mountain.
Although grieving, we that remain here are all glad she is anew in Heaven with no more pain and no more worry.
