SHELBY: Chris White, 44, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019. He was the son of the late Carl White and Jane Griffin White of Shelby. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Shirley Davis Powell and husband Ronnie; and brothers, Donald White and wife Sherry, and Buster Griffin and wife Ann, all of Shelby. A memorial service will be held 2pm, Sunday, March 31, 2019, at In His Hands Independent Baptist Church, 126 Hopewell Road, Ellenboro.
