SHELBY- Christine Crawford Smith, 95, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Carolina Care, Cherryville. She was born in Morgan Co., Ga to the late Fred A. and Vannah Young Crawford. She was a member of Westview Baptist Church. She was a charter member of Clev-Linc Rose Society and a past member of Carolina Orchid Society.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Glenn Smith; brothers, Euell and Henry Crawford; sisters, Ruth Byrum, Virginia Williams, Minnie Belle Anthony, and Kitty Minnix.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Fred Smith and wife Rhonda of Fort Mill; daughter Suzanne Bridges and husband Dennis of Lawndale; sister Janet Isrel of Florida; grandchildren, Jason Smith and Melissa Eschler; and great grandchildren, Grayson, Reagan, Landon, Jacob and Lukas

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.

FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held 11:00 AM Friday, April 27, 2018 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby

OFFICIATING: Dr. Michael Minnix

BURIAL: will immediately follow the service at Cleveland Memorial Park
