SHELBY- Mr. Christopher Scott Ward, 32, of 3811 Redman Road, died Friday, November 20, 2009 at home. A native of Cleveland County, he is the son of Scott Ward and his wife Stephanie Lynn of Shelby and Tracy Hester and her husband Tim of Long Shoals.
SURVIVORS: In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Ward and former wife Kathy Ward, both of Greer, SC; a brother Eric Ward and his wife Heather of Cherryville; 4 step brothers Chad Hester of Long Shoals, Eric Hester of High Shoals, Justin Wright and his wife Shaynena of Newton, and Jeremy Wright of Cherryville; a special aunt, Connie Turner of Shelby; niece, Makenzie Ward; 3 nephews, Devon Hannah, Colton Ward, and Kameron Wright; and two grandmothers Gloria Head of Shelby and Mary Ellen Ward of Lawndale.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Monday, November 23, from 1:30-3pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and other times at the home.
FUNERAL: Services will be held, Monday, November 23, 3pm, In the Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Sunset Cemetery
