Claude Brown

SHELBY- Mr. Claude Lindsey Brown, 92, of 937 W. Warren St., died Tues., May 10, 2011 at Sterling House. A native of Spartanburg Cty., SC, he was the son of the late Joseph and Florence Cudd Brown. He retired from Doran Mill and was a dedicated member of Dover Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Margaret Wofford Brown; and 5 brothers and sisters

SURVIVED: He is survived by his two sons C.L. Brown and wife Betty of Shelby and Drs. Milton Brown and wife LouAnn of Decatur, GA; sister Pauline Brady and wife John of Inman, SC; two brothers Clarence Brown and wife Hazel of Inman, SC, Joe Brown Jr. and wife Betty of Saluda; four grandchildren LaDonna Dedmon and wife Don of Lawndale, Sharon Hendrick and husband Joel of Shelby, Meredith Brown and Tyler Brown, both of Decatur, Ga.; four great grandchildren Kasey Robinson and husband Josh, Leigh Ann Green, Brett and Chase Hendrick; one great-great grandchild Tucker Robinson; and many nieces and nephews

SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 3pm, Thursday at Dover Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 1:30 -3pm Thursday at the church , and other times at the home

CLERGY: Dr. B. Irvin Price

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Cleveland Memorial Park
