Claudine Shoemaker

SHELBY: Claudine Nichols Shoemaker, 76, died Sunday, March 24, 2019, at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Lucille Massey Nichols. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Shoemaker; and daughter, Sandra Davis. She is survived by her son, Jeff Shoemaker; daughter, Shelly Shoemaker and husband Charles Ivey; sister, Deloris Bowlin, all of Shelby; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; niece, Teresa Bowlin; and nephew, Steven Nichols. A memorial service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Tony Sisk officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
