LATTIMORE- Mrs. Cookie Atkins, 63, of 202 Peachtree Road, died Sat., Dec. 3rd, 2011 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland Co., she was the daughter of the late Don and Annie Doster Ledford.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott Edmondson; father in law, Charlie Atkins; and nephew, Derrick Hamrick
SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Jerry Atkins of the home; daughter, Bonnie Edmondson of Casar; son, Keith Edmondson and wife Robin of Maryville, WA; three half brothers, Ford Bean of Baltimore, Tim Dial of Kannapolis, Jack Smith of Vermont; half sister, Patty Dial of Baltimore; six grandchildren, Kristina Edmondson, Kimberly and Haley Moses, Charlotte, Colby, and Georgia Edmondson; mother in law, Geneva Atkins of Lattimore
SERVICES: 2pm, Wednesday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel
VISITATION: The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6-7:30pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at her home.
BURIAL: Cleveland Memorial Park
