Dale Booth

SHELBY-Dale Ray Booth,45, died Thursday, April 29,2021 at his home. A native of Cleveland County. He was preceded in death by his father Mitchell C Booth Sr.; grandparents, Arthur Booth, Francis Scruggs, John Gore and Louise Gore Sullivan. He is survived by his mother, Joann Tomlin of Shelby, son, Drew Booth of Gaffney, SC; daughters, Victoria Booth of Ellenboro, NC and Stacy Booth of Mooresboro, NC; grandson, MJ Miller; brother, Mitchell C Booth Jr. of Shelby; and sister, Teresa Gail Booth of Shelby; niece, Haley Booth; great niece, Nevaeh Simpson. The family would like to thank everyone who helped bring a little sunshine and joy to Dale’s life here on earth, for he had many challenges. Dale was a very sweet loving and giving person and will be missed by many. Funeral services will be held 2pm, Tuesday, May 4,2021, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. B. Ervin Price officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in sunset cemetery.
