Dan Boryta

SHELBY: Daniel “Dan” Boryta, 85, died Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Hospice at Wendover. Born in Schenectady, NY, he was the son of the late Alfred and Valeria Knapik Boryta. He retired as a Chemist and enjoyed sailing and camping. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Al Boryta. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Pam Brackett Boryta of the home; daughters, Cathy Turner and husband Ron of PA, Diane Cennamo and husband Jack of MA, Laura Yannella and husband Tony of CO and Holli Henin and husband Jonathan of Charlotte; son, Jason Hollifield of Waynesville; grandchildren, Charlene and Renee, Tony and Phillip, and Kilian, Leo and Kaiden; and great-grandchildren, Lacey, Madison and Anthony. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM, Thursday, September 15, 2022 at The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer.. The family will receive friends following the service, in the fellowship hall.
