KINGS MOUNTAIN-W.D. “Dan” Ramsey, 81, died Friday, Oct. 6, 2017, at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Porter and Jeanette Stone Ramsey. He served in the Army and was a supervisor for Ruppe Hosiery for many years.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bill, Dick, and David Ramsey; and sister, Louise Armstrong.
SURVIVED: He is survived by he loving wife, Maxine Davis Ramsey, of the home; sons, Darrell Ramsey and wife Tammie, Rusty Ramsey and wife Betty, all of Kings Mountain, and Rick Ramsey of Kure Beach; sister, Gaynell Ruppe of Kings Mountain; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends 2-4pm, Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, at the home of his son, Rusty Ramsey and wife Betty.
