Danny Gold

SHELBY-Mr. Danny Rush Gold, 57, of Van Aiken Circle, died Monday, January 3, 2011 at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Rush and Patsy Willis Gold. Danny worked for Timken Plant as an electrical supervisor for 30 years in Lincolnton. He was also a member of Zion Baptist Church and served in the Army.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his son Daniel Gold and wife Jody; daughter Patty Gold and special friend Jason Bell, all of Shelby; sister Trudy Gold of Charlotte; and two grandsons, Jason Gold Jr. and Logan Gold.

SERVICES: Memorial Service will be held, Wednesday, January 5, 2011, 3pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.

RECEPTION: A celebration of Danny’s life will take place following the service at his home on Van Aiken Circle.
