Danny Lovelace

SHELBY: Danny Charles Lovelace, 62, died Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Peak Resources in Shelby. He was the son of Patricia Chapman of Kings Mountain and the late Charles Lovelace. Danny was a member at Oak Grove Baptist Church, he loved going to the beach, and most of all he loved animals especially his two dogs, Bosco and Bailey. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Clinton Grigg. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his uncles, Gene Grigg and wife Chris and Roscoe Grigg; aunts, Melba Shaver, Brenda Edmonson, Reva Boggs, and Irene Grigg; and many cousins. Memorial services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Second Baptist Church in Kings Mountain with Dennis Pruitt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
