Danny Navy

KINGS MOUNTAIN- William Daniel “Danny” Navy, 56, passed away Monday November 21, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late William Earl and Ruth Inez Falls Navy. Danny never met a stranger and he adored his girls and grandchildren. He was very active with the Kings Mountain Booster Club for many years among other things.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant brother, Kenneth Navy.

SURVIVED: He is survived three daughters, Jennifer Webb and husband John of Sylva, NC, Ashley Hope and husband Jack and Amy Navy and boyfriend Steven Acuff all of Kings Mountain; four sisters, Pam Messick and husband Rodney of Gastonia, Teresa Spencer and husband Tony of Cherryville, Brenda Navy of Kings Mountain, and Diane Weaver and husband Alex of Gastonia; six grandchildren, Noah and Logan Webb, Kallie, Emma, and Luke Hope, and Jason Acuff; mothers of his daughters, Kim Carrigan Navy and Wanda McCurry; his companion, Reba Price.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held Saturday, 2pm at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Friday, 5-7pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.

CLERGY: Rev. Greg Neely and Rev. Michael Chambers will officiate.

INTERNMENT: Internment will be private and for the family to announce at a later date.
