SHELBY- David Monroe Blanton, 73, of Hilltop Drive, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at his residence. A native of Cleveland county, he was the son of the late J.Y. and Ola Elizabeth Bingham Blanton.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his wife, Christine Canipe Blanton of the home; three children, Michael Blanton, Lisa Price, and Wanda Montgomery; and two sisters; 10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday at Westwood Heights Baptist Church
VISITATION: The family will greet attendees as they depart after the service in the foyer of the church.
