SHELBY- Mr. Dawayne Michael Allgeyer, 16, of 115 Immanuel Church Rd., departed this life with his cousin and best friend, Justin, on Sunday, November 15, 2009. A native of Cleveland County, he was a son of Joseph Davis of Gastonia and Catherine Allgeyer of the home. He attended the ninth grade at Crest High School and was a member of Patterson Springs Baptist Church. Dawayne was also a volunteer of the Good News Club at Graham Elementary School.

SURVIVORS: In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Jessica Allgeyer, Jasmine Allgeyer and Alyssa Brown, all of the home; three brothers, Dre’Shaun Davis, Quantez Davis, and Devin Davis, all of Gastonia; his grandparents; and his aunts and uncles.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Patterson Springs Baptist Church and also at the gravesite following the committal service.

FUNERAL: The funeral will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Patterson Springs Baptist Church.

BURIAL: Burial will follow in Patterson Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

OFFICIATING CLERGY: The Revs. Steve Waters and Ernest Simons will be officiating.
