Dean Wright

SHELBY-Carroll “Dean” Wright, 78, died Thurs., Dec. 22, 2016, at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Forrest and Jodie Woods Wright. He served in the Marines, was a member of Zion Baptist Church, and retired as an HVAC technician.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Grace Palmer and Sara Wilson; and grandson, Josh Carrigan.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his daughter, Karen Wright White of Fallston; sons, Christopher Wright and Chastity Rudisill of Lincolnton, and Chad Wright of Lawndale; step-daughter, Shelly Carrigan and husband Chucky of Lawndale; brothers, Tom Wright and wife Gail of Cherryville, and Dennis Wright and wife Vanna of Shelby; grandchildren, Morgan Clay Morrison, Maggie and Molly Clay, Logan, Addison, Kristian, and Jonathan Wright, Allyssa and Emily Wright, and Jacob Carrigan; great-grandchildren, Xander and Xavi Morrison.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 11a.m., Monday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

BURIAL: Will follow in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, with Military Honor’s
